Tom Brady: 'We'll have to adapt without Rob Gronkowski'

New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady admits that his side will have to find a way to function without tight end Rob Gronkowski.

New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady has admitted that his side will have to adapt to play without tight end Rob Gronkowski.

The 24-year-old reportedly tore his ACL and MCL, and sustained a concussion in his side's win over the Cleveland Browns, which will rule him out for the rest of the season.

Brady told radio station WEEI: "It just shifts; you just have to find a different formula. I think that's the important part.

"And Gronk provides a certain margin of error because of how talented a player he is, and the other guys play different roles for us.

"We're going to have to make do, whatever the combinations are if Gronk's not out there, we've got to try to figure those out."

Gronkowski has sustained his third major injury in as many seasons as he suffered an ankle problem in 2012 and a broken forearm earlier this year.
