The Miami Dolphins have signed free agent defensive back Louis Delmas, according to a report.
The 26-year-old was released by the Detroit Lions last month after five seasons with the club, leaving many potential suitors for his signature.
However, the Dolphins have won the race to sign the safety on a one-year deal worth $3.5m (£2.1m), reports ProFootballTalk.com.
Delmas recorded 64 tackles, two sacks and three interceptions in the 2013 season.
