LaVon Brazill: 'I need to let my work do the talking'

Indianapolis Colts receiver LaVon Brazill is confident that he can become a big part of the team's offense.

Indianapolis Colts wide receiver LaVon Brazill has claimed that he is ready to become a key part of the team's offense in the absence of injured Reggie Wayne.

The 2012 sixth-round pick is yet to make a catch this season, contributing a sole 16-yard kickoff return. He was suspended for the first four games of the campaign.

However with Wayne ruled out for the season after tearing his ACL during the win over the Denver Broncos, Brazill has the confidence to step up following a decent rookie year last year in which he caught for 186 yards off of 11 receptions.

Brazill told Colts.com: "I want to show them what I'm capable of doing and that's being a big part of this offense.

"I need to do what got me here, make plays, catch the ball, keep the chains moving, let my work do the talking.

"Being suspended helped me grow as a man. I messed up and paid the consequences. Now I'm ready to move forward and put all that behind me. I'm ready to make a play and I'm ready to do it."

The Colts, who top the AFC South, travel to divisional rivals the Houston Texans on Sunday night.
