Bill O'Brien wants caring quarterback at Houston Texans

Houston Texans head coach Bill O'Brien wants a quarterback with an attitude similar to that of New England Patriots' Tom Brady.

Houston Texans head coach Bill O'Brien has revealed that he wants a quarterback with the same attitude as New England Patriots' Tom Brady.

O'Brien worked with Brady for four years at the Patriots as his coach and offensive coordinator as he was part of helping Bill Belichick's side become of the the NFL's best offenses during his time in New England.

"I'd be getting texts, calls from Tom on Wednesday night about the third-down package," O'Brien told TheMMQB.com. "Thursday night I'd be hearing from him 9 o'clock, 10 o'clock about redzone plays.

"Obviously, he's talented, but Tom never stopped thinking about football. When you coach Tom Brady, you're not coaching with him; you're a partner in the offense with him. That's the ideal for a quarterback — someone who cares about it as much as you do."

The Texans have the first overall pick in the 2014 Draft.
