The Green Bay Packers edge a low-scoring first half, leading the Detroit Lions 6-3 at the halfway stage.

Mason Crosby kicked two field goals in the first half to give the Green Bay Packers a slender 6-3 lead over the Detroit Lions at the halfway stage of their NFL clash.

The Packers were the first to register on the scoreboard, doing so with just 1:28 left in a low-scoring first quarter when Crosby successfully kicked a 26-yard field goal.

Crosby was also responsible for the first score in the second quarter, this time kicking a 52-yard field goal to double Green Bay's advantage.

The Lions did get on the scoreboard late in the half when David Akers hit a 53-yard kick with 20 seconds on the clock, sending the two teams in with a three-point difference.

As things stand, the Packers will maintain their 100% home record this season while also improving their overall record to 2-2.
