Denver Broncos make 11 roster cuts

The Denver Broncos release 11 players from their roster ahead of the cut-down deadline on Tuesday.

The Denver Broncos have made 11 roster cuts to bring their squad down to 77 players.

John Fox's side released Kemonte' Bateman, Mario Butler, Manase Foketi, Ryan Katz, Uona Kaveinga, Nigel Malone, Quincy McDuffie, Greg Orton, Deangelo Peterson, Quentin Saulsberry and Lanston Tanyi.

Teams have until Tuesday to cut their rosters down to 75 for the final pre-season game and then have until August 31 to make further cuts until they have their squad of 53 for the upcoming season.

Denver face the Arizona Cardinals in their final pre-season game on Thursday.
