Montee Ball confident of regaining starting job

Denver Broncos star Montee Ball remains confident that he will win back the starting role of running back for the franchise this season.

Denver Broncos star Montee Ball has insisted that he remains confident that he will be able to win back the starting job as running back.

The third-year player is currently listed behind CJ Anderson and Ronnie Hillman, but is adamant that he will surpass them both in the upcoming season.

"CJ deserves the number one spot right now. I'm most definitely going to try to work to get it back. And I believe that I will," Ball told The AP.

"I like coming in and being the underdog, just keeping my head down, my mouth shut and just working."

Ball had a 4.7-yard average in his rookie year, but struggled with injuries which limited him to 172 yards on 55 carries and a single touchdown in 2014.
