Dallas Cowboys not worried about DeMarco Murray

Dallas Cowboys coach Jason Garrett insists that he is not worried by the decrease in production from running back DeMarco Murray.

Dallas Cowboys coach Jason Garrett has insisted that he is not worried by the decrease in production from DeMarco Murray.

Murray has played the last three games with an injured hand that required surgery, and he has averaged 20.3 attempts, 77.7 yards per game and 3.8 yards per rush.

The last statistic is the one that has received attention as it is a full yard lower that he averaged in the first 15 weeks of the regular season.

"I thought he was outstanding in the game the other day [against Detroit], a lot of dirty runs against a team that's very good defending the run," Garrett said, according to ESPN.

"I think we've been really balanced over this last stretch. We've made a lot of plays in the passing game, maybe as a result of the commitment teams have made to stop the run. We're playing really good offensive football, and he's a big part of it."

On Sunday Dallas, who have won their last five games, face the Green Bay Packers, who have a defense ranked 23rd against the run.
