Dez Bryant not distracted by contract talks

Dez Bryant insists that he will not allow contract talks with the Dallas Cowboys to distract him when he is on the field.

Dallas Cowboys receiver Dez Bryant has insisted that he is not allowing himself to become distracted by contract talks, but he is hopeful that a deal will be agreed soon.

The 25-year-old revealed on Monday that there is a "big chance" that he could get a new deal, with reports claiming that the two parties have made progress in negotiations.

"I don't want to talk about it anymore. Put it behind me. I love this game. Either way, I feel like I can't be distracted once I'm on the football field," Bryant is quoted by NFL.com as saying.

Bryant has previously claimed that he is among the top five receivers in the NFL.
