The Chicago Bears have confirmed that they have signed running back Jacquizz Rodgers.
The 25-year-old was allowed to leave the Atlanta Falcons at the end of the 2014 season after four years at the club.
Rodgers was available on the free-agent market for two weeks before the Bears signed him to a one-year deal to join their backfield, which includes Matt Forte and Kadeem Carey.
The running back had 2,220 total yards from scrimmage and 10 touchdowns for the Falcons in his four years with the club.
