Doug Marrone is not sure that Stevie Johnson will be reedy to play at the weekend.

Buffalo Bills coach Doug Marrone has admitted that he is not certain when wide receiver Stevie Johnson might return to action.

Johnson was injured during the Bills' loss to the Cleveland Browns last Friday, but has returned home as there has been a death in the family.

"I'll get ready to call him here in a little bit," Marrone told Buffalo News. "You know, see how he's doing.

"Obviously he's working on getting treatment [for his back] out there. I really don't know until he comes back and we're able to talk with him and see how he feels. It's quite a long travel for him, to Oakland and back, so I really don't know."

Bills have begun the season with a 2-3 record.
