The Buffalo Bills release running back Tashard Choice to allow their younger players to gain more experience.

The Buffalo Bills have announced that veteran running back Tashard Choice has been released.

The 29-year-old has featured in every game for the AFC East side so far this season, but is behind CJ Spiller and Fred Jackson on the team's depth chart.

The Bills have said that they want to use the remaining games of the season to give rookie Ronnie Wingo some NFL experience.

Choice has also had spells with the Dallas Cowboys and Washington Redskins since joining the league in 2008.
