Baltimore Ravens running back Bernard Pierce is expected to miss practice after reportedly sustaining a knee sprain during the win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

It has been reported that Bernard Pierce will miss the Baltimore Ravens' practices for the next few days after injuring his knee.

The running back was seen to reach for his knee after taking a hit in the end zone during the Super Bowl champions' win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Thursday.

The Baltimore Sun states that the 23-year-old picked up a sprain during the game, but that there is no structural damage to his knee, keeping him off the field for a couple of days.

Pierce scored a touchdown during the 44-16 victory.
