Dean Pees: 'Arthur Jones is Baltimore Ravens' most improved player'

Baltimore Ravens defensive coordinator Dean Pees believes that defensive end Arthur Jones is one of the team's most improved players.

Baltimore Ravens defensive coordinator Dean Pees has highlighted Arthur Jones as one of the team's most improved players this season.

The defensive end, who is in his fourth season with the AFC North side, has made 28 tackles and four sacks so far this season, just 0.5 tackles short of his total from 2012.

Pees told the team's website: "He's one of the most improved guys that we have on our football team. From where he's come to where he is now, he's just vastly, vastly improved, and we feel good about him every week."

Head coach John Harbaugh added: "He's turned into a very solid and even excellent defensive lineman in this league, and I think it is because of his work ethic. He's really maximised his physical potential, and he's one of the best defensive linemen now going. We're real proud of what he has done."

The Super Bowl champions face the Chicago Bears this weekend.
