Arizona Cardinals cornerback Patrick Peterson believes that Atlanta Falcons duo Roddy White and Julio Jones are the best receiving tandem in the NFL.

Jones claimed that he and his teammate were the outstanding duo in the league as each has received Pro Bowl berths since the 25-year-old's arrival in the league in 2011.

Peterson, who is widely regarded as one of the best defensive backs in the game, has agreed with Jones's statement and he feels that they make life simpler for quarterback Matt Ryan.

"The best duo in the NFL, I'd probably have to say that's pretty accurate," Peterson told the Atlanta Journal Constitution.

"Both of those guys are Pro Bowl calibre receivers, both of them are All-Pro calibre receivers.

"Both of them do a lot of good things for Matt Ryan to make his job a little easier. But to say they are the best tandem, I'd probably have to say that he's probably right."

The Falcons recorded a 4-12 record in the NFL last season.
