Arizona Cardinals first-round Draft pick Deone Bucannon admits that it will be hard to adjust mentally to the NFL.

Arizona Cardinals first-round Draft pick Deone Bucannon has admitted that there is a "big mental jump" when taking the step up from college level to the NFL.

The strong safety said that, although getting his head right would be tough, he is aware of how hard he needs to work if he is to make his transition into the league a successful one.

"A big mental jump, I feel like, is the biggest thing from college to the NFL," Bucannon told Arizona Sports.

"But at the same time, if you put in that work and you use the resources that you have you can continue to get better and better each day. I'm not there yet, but I'm going to get there."

Bucannon was the 27th overall pick in the first round of the 2014 Draft.
