Bruce Arians: 'Andre Ellington to continue in same role for Arizona Cardinals'

Arizona Cardinals head coach Bruce Arians insists that running back Andre Ellington will be continuing in the same role for the team in 2015.

Bruce Arians has said that he expects Andre Ellington to continue in the "same role" for the Arizona Cardinals during the 2015 NFL season.

The NFC West side added to their running game in this year's Draft, selecting Northern Iowa running back David Johnson in the third round.

The head coach told ESPN: "I think Andre will continue his same role. We'll keep him healthy and let him continue to develop as a player, but the nice thing David can do is he can do everything Andre does, so you don't have to change if there was an injury."

Ellington had 660 rushing yards and three touchdowns during his second season in the league.
